More tiny humans...

The lady who looks like Mommy came to my house today, and do you know what she did?  She brought 2 tiny humans with her.  The girl tiny human is the one I was talking about before.  She squeezes me too hard and chases me.  I really want to like her because she tells me she like me, but she’s just scary.  The other tiny human is REALLY tiny.  He is a boy.  He is so tiny he doesn’t even walk.  I like that.  That means he can’t chase me.  Mommy put this tiny human on the couch and was talking to him in a funny voice.  Ummm, Mommy….why are you talking to the tiny human that way?  I had to get up on the couch to find out exactly what was going on.  I found this tiny human on the couch moving his arms and legs so fast but he wasn’t going anywhere!!  Humans make no sense to me.  Let’s hope they train this tiny human not to squeeze me so hard…

It wasn't me Mommy!!

Hi everyone!!  It’s Annabel.  Look what happened today!  That rug just up and walked from the kitchen into the family room.  Mommy saw me with the rug in my mouth and asked me what I was doing.  I tried to tell her I was just holding it there in the family room so it didn’t jump up and walk away again.  I don’t think she believed me though…

I don't like Facebook...but Mommy does

Mommy likes to hold her computer on her lap.  That makes me mad because that’s where I sit!!  She does something called Facebook.  She does this all the time.  So, I have learned how to get on Mommy’s lap and put my head on the computer.  Mommy has to stop doing Facebook and pet my head.  I WIN!!!  This is a picture of me sleeping on Mommy’s computer so she can’t do Facebook…..

Comfy new bed

Hi everyone…it’s Annabel.  Mommy took this picture of me while I was sleeping.  This is my bed.  It’s so snuggly and warm, but I just can’t seem to keep myself inside it.  I sleep in my bed while Mommy works.  It takes a long time for Mommy to work, but I don’t mind because I get to stay with her, and I love my snuggly bed.

Tiny Humans

Hi everyone:

It’s Annabel again.  I want to tell you about tiny humans.  They are even scarier than the big ones.  They move really fast and squeeze a little too hard.  They make a lot of noise too!!

Mommy and the man she calls Jim got some company one day.  There was a lady who looked a lot like Mommy…and she called her that too!!  She was really nice.  There was a man with her that was really nice too.  Then came the tiny human.  She wanted to pet me and hold me and I got really scared.  By the end of these strangers’ visit, I learned that I shouldn’t be so afraid of the tiny human.  She was willing to throw a ball for me to chase for as long as I would chase it.  Hmmm…maybe we can be friends some day.  If only she wouldn’t squeeze so hard when she’s giving me hugs.

Mommy's little Princess

Mommy told me I was a princess today.  I thought I was a Cavalier King Charles Spaniel.  Now, I’m not sure what to think. 

I’m little, and I like to sleep a lot.  I especially like it when Mommy picks me up and holds me.  She tells me all the time that she loves me and is happy I’m here.  I’m not sure what that means either, but I think it’s a good thing.  I think that because she gives me lots of hugs and kisses when she says it.  I love you too, Mommy, and I’m happy I’m here too.

Mommy...what's Christmas?

A few days after I came to live with Mommy, she said it was something called Christmas.  She was up late that night and kept putting paper around boxes.  I don’t understand much about what Mommy does yet.  All I know is once she was done putting the paper on the boxes, she put all of the boxes on the floor in front of a tree.  Yep…there was a tree in the house.  Anyway, once she got all the boxes put by the tree, she put me there next!!  What the heck Mommy?

Best Friends

This is my fur brother, Sam, and me.  We are best friends now!!  I’m so glad he is here.  He shows me cool things like where the door is to go outside and where Mommy keeps our food and yummies.  We like to sit right in front of that cupboard and hope she gets the hint that we are hungry.  Sam also makes the best snuggle buddy ever.  He has long hair that is really soft and snuggly.

Hello again:

It’s me…Annabel.  I wanted to introduce you to my fur brother.  His name is Sam.  Mommy said he is a Golden Retriever.  All I know is he is BIG!!  I was scared of him at first, but Mommy was holding me and she kept telling Sam to be nice.  He sniffed and sniffed me, and then he gave me kisses.  He lets me jump on him now and chew on his ears and tail.  I tried to give him a ride across the floor the other day, but he’s too big.  He wouldn’t even budge!! 

My first day with Mommy

Hi everyone:

My name is Annabel.  I am a Cavalier King Charles Spaniel.  When I was really little, I was taken away from what Mommy calls my fur mommy.  The man Mommy calls Jim, or Honey sometimes, came to get me.  He put me in a pink box and took me for a long car ride.  I was so scared!!  Then, he gave me to Mommy.  She hugged me right away and cried.  I was still scared, but it felt good to get the hug.
